The region is also famous for its great racing, its world famous trainers and its happy punters, with five of the finest racecourses in the country – Gowran Park, Clonmel, Tramore, Tipperary and Wexford town. There are three Fáilte Ireland “Land of the Horses Centres’ located in the South East Region – Belmont Equestrian Centre in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford; Hillcrest Equestrian Centre in Galbally, Co. Tipperary and Mount Juliet Equestrian Centre, Co. Kilkenny.
