Dunmore East Food Festival
Dunmore East Food Festival is a jam-packed weekend of family fun, festivities and of course fish. Hold every year at the end of June it is usually blessed with fine summer weather adding greatly to the many outdoor events and demonstrations of cooking.
For kids art & craft workshops are held and the ever popular mobile farm is a big attaction.
Dungarvan Festival of Food
With a wealth of natural resources from mountains, to fertile plains and small fishing harbours, it is understandable why County Waterford produces the best food in Ireland. To celebrate the quality of food, the first Festival of Food held in mid-April 2000 was a resounding success, with a wide display of local food, together with cookery demonstrations by celebrity chefs including Paul Flynn of the Tannery.
The 2010 Food Festival attracted over 10,000 to Dungarvan. Most people chose to ‘graze’ their way around Grattan Square sampling the many different dishes available and purchasing local produce from the many stalls.
