With a modern road network connecting with the main entry points into Ireland, Waterford City is the ideal base from which to explore the region.

6 Routes are suggested – each a comfortable drive in a day, allowing for stops along the way at main points of interest, as well as lesser known attractions.

Whichever route you choose you will be rewarded by unspoilt scenic delights and a friendly welcome wherever you choose to stop. In each case the starting and finishing point is the ancient Viking City of Waterford.
